In Memoriam: George Carlin, Part 1

George Carlin died yesterday from heart failure; he was 71. I really can’t say much right now other than that he was one of my favorite comedians. He was the definition of cynicism; I think he helped to build that up in me. Jammin’ in New York was the first album of his that I heard and was hooked ever since.
